All you need to know about Panchakarma Treatment – its Benefits and Importance

Panchakarma is a natural treatment in Ayurveda which helps us in improving our health physically and mentally by eliminating excess toxins from our body. Mainly this practice is used to cure pitta- dominated conditions, such as herpes zoster, jaundice, colitis, celiac infection etc.

Basti : Basti is a practice used to clear the toxins from the three doshas: Vasa, Pitta, and Kapha. This treatment is used mainly for chronic diseases. This practice is mainly used for vata-dominated conditions, such as arthritis, piles, and constipation.

Nasya : Nasya therapy cures the diseases that affect the head area like migraine, chronic headaches, ear, nose, and throat disorders. This treatment is done by fomentation and delicate massage.  This therapy is done through nasal openings.

Raktamokshan : Raktamokshan is a blood purification therapy. It clears the blood from blood-borne diseases. This treatment is mainly done for skin infections, such as psoriasis, dermatitis, etc.
