People nowadays are extremely ambitious to achieve something. They put all the energy and concentration into their work. In time, people turn into workaholics, which involves a continuous and glued sitting position, more exposure to computers and lack of body movements. Further, this leads to problems in the area of neck, shoulder and spine. If not taken care of this can turn into critical health issues.

Lets understand what causes discomfort in the neck and shoulder area:

  • Lack of Movement : This causes muscles to become weak. Weak muscles make the joints work harder. When you are less physically active you become unfit and your level of pain increases.
  • Excessive sitting : This causes slower metabolism, compromised posture and the worst effect is  neck and spine pain.
  • Incorrect position of sleep : Often you may experience inability in movements of neck as soon as you get up from a long sleep. This may be due to wrong position or wrong size of pillow.
